David Hodsdon - Committee Member

David Hodsdon retired from working 17years as an Electrical Engineer for MIT Lincoln Laboratory in 1989 to Jefferson to pursue a more leisurely pace and a long time interest in photography. His interests include photographing all of Maine, nature, and creating travelogue slide shows. During the last summers he took extended trips to the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and Beyond to enjoy and photograph in many of the National Parks.

He particularly enjoys creating panoramic pictures to emphasize the grandeur of the places he has been.

He graduated from the University of Maine at Augusta in 1991 with an Associate Degree in Art majoring in Photography. In 1999 he put together a "digital darkroom", and now creates all his work using a digital camera, computer, and an inkjet printer. He uses a Nikon D300, Dell Precision T3400 Workstation, and an Epson Stylus Pro 7600 Inkjet printer.
